Dating online can be filled with lots of tricky questions from the start. Do you tell your date that you’re between jobs? Perform you confess that you’re a cat dude and already have two fur babies? And how much of this information is, or isn’t, appropriate to reveal in your profile or on the first date?
For bisexual users, though, the question of what to reveal and when hits even closer to home: When do you “come out” to a new date?
For many bisexuals, this is not an easy conversation to possess. Today, there is still an abundance of stereotypes that can color a person’s perception of our sexuality.
Some accuse us of being predisposed to cheating. Others wonder if we can ever be content in a monogamous affair . Frequently, we get sexualized (like when a vertical man automatically assumes a bisexual woman is completely open to a threesome).

When it comes to figuring out your sexuality, it’s common for things to get confusing. Growing up in a heteronormative society with small queer representation may exit many of us feeling confused when we begin to notice attraction to the same gender – this is particularly genuine if you’re bisexual.
For pansexual people, it’s extra confusing if we’ve gone our whole lives thinking we were only attracted to the opposite gender love the majority of people surrounding us. Many of us may have even grown up not really knowing bisexuality was a thing! But, oftentimes when we look back, we can see the signs were there all along.
If the process of determining your sexual orientation has left you feeling lost, know you are definitely not alone. Many people have gone through the exact same processes to figure out what labels do and don’t undergo right for them… And it can be really confusing!

How Do You Know If You’re Bisexual?
A quiz can’t tell you if you’re bisexual, and bisexuality looks different for everyone. Instead, try asking yourself these questions. You can choose come out to someone you feel sound with, but only if and when you want to.
Entering your birth date, birth time, and birth city into an astrology website won’t tell you whether you’re bisexual.
Neither will a blood test, nasal swab, or online quiz.

A dirty dream featuring a hottie of a gender you don’t typically get down with can be hot (hello, sleep orgasm!).
