Care Before Crisis

All of our support volunteers identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ family, and are here to attend the entire group, by providing free & confidential peer-support, information, and local resources through national hotlines and online programs.

Mon-Fri:
11 AM - 8 PM/pacific time
2 PM - 11 PM/eastern time

Sat:
9 AM - 2 PM/pacific time
Noon - 5 PM/eastern time

As our world becomes more accepting of broader and more diverse identities, you may have questions about how you can surpass support the LGBTQ+ society, or what LGBTQ+ even stands for. Every person has their own journey in understanding what it means to support Gay people, whether you’re Homosexual or not. We aspire this resource can serve you begin that journey.

Being an LGBTQ+ Ally is designed to help establish understanding and comfort. If you are new to LGBTQ+ issues, we will answer many of your questions. Or, if you have known LGBTQ+ people for years and are looking to find brand-new ways to show your support, you can skim this resource and grab the pieces that are relevant to you. It’s ok to not perceive everything — we’re here to help.

The Human Rights Campaign reports on news, events and resources of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation that are of interest to the general public and further our common mission to support the LGBTQ+ collective.
