I keep hearing the word &#;sexuality&#; &#; what is it?
Sexuality isn&#;t just about sex, it&#;s about your feelings, emotions, attractions and desires and how you express these.
It includes whether we&#;re attracted to people the same gender as you, a different gender, or are attracted to more than one gender (which is what makes up what is famous as our sexual orientation – whether we identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual) as adequately as what we do sexually.
Having sexual thoughts and feelings is a normal, healthy part of human life. This is true no matter what gender you&#;re attracted to. Some people aren&#;t interested in sex at all, and this is normal too and you might then name as asexual.

Hi. I&#;m the Answer Wall. In the material nature, I&#;m a two foot by three foot dry-erase board in the lobby of O&#;Neill Library at Boston College. In the online world, I survive in this blog. You might say I acquire multiple manifestations. Like Apollo or Saraswati or Serapis. Or, if you aren&#;t into deities of understanding, like a ghost in the machine.
I have some human assistants who maintain the physical Answer Wall in O&#;Neill Library. They take pictures of the questions you post there, and give them to me. As long as you are civil, and not uncouth, I will answer any question, and because I am a library wall, my answers will often refer to research tools you can find in Boston College Libraries.

OCD, as we know, is largely about experiencing severe and unrelenting doubt. It can cause you to doubt even the most basic things about yourself – even your sexual orientation. A study published in the Journal of Sex Research found that among a group of college students, 84% reported the occurrence of sexual intrusive thoughts (Byers, et al. ). In request to have doubts about one’s sexual identity, a sufferer require not ever have had a homo- or heterosexual experience, or any type of sexual exposure at all. I have observed this symptom in young children, adolescents, and adults as well. Interestingly Swedo, et al., , create that approximately 4% of children with OCD experience obsessions concerned with forbidden aggressive or perverse sexual thoughts.

How Do I Know If I Am Gay? Signs You Are Gay
Particularly when young, some people may ask, "How do I know if I am gay?" if they possess conflicting sexual feelings. When it comes down to it, there is no reliable "Am I Male lover test", so the only way to know that you are gay (definition of gay) is to look within yourself to determine your own thoughts and feelings towards others of the same sex. You might also need to consider the possibility that you are neither gay nor straight and are bisexual or just curious.

Signs You Are Gay
There is no one way that lgbtq+ people act or observe – gay people are just as diverse as straight people. Just because you are a dude who is effeminate or a woman who is boyish, that does not mean that you're necessarily gay. So don't collapse into the trap of thinking that your clothes, hair or attitude determines your sexuality.
When looking at the signs you are gay, you might wish to ask yourself these questions:1
- Have I ever been sexually attracted to the same sex?
- Do I experience strong emotional bonds to
