Note: Traveling as an LGBTQ+ person always carries a certain degree of risk. It is our reality as we navigate a nature with 60+ countries criminalizing our relationships and a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation around the world. The LGBTQ+ rights movement has made tremendous strides over the past several decades and much of the progress in noticeability is thanks in part to gay pride parades and marches that own taken place in cities around the world.
The global landscape for LGBTQ+ rights, protections and acceptance varies tremendously by location, with some destinations attracting millions of visitors to their events like Madrid Same-sex attracted Pride, Sao Paulo Homosexual Pride or San Francisco Gay Pride, while more than 70 other countries have laws that permit discrimin

The Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade is one of the undisputed highlights of the Brighton & Hove Pride weekend and is a glorious showcase of the city’s charities, community groups and minor businesses as well as our invaluable emergency services, the NHS and statutory partners.
It is one of the biggest and brightest events in Brighton & Hove’s events calendar, with over , people thronging the city’s streets to participate in and view the parade of community and campaign groups, and the all-singing, all-dancing carnival of colour as it wends its way from Hove Lawns to Preston Park for Pride on the Park supported by Hayu, the official Brighton & Hove Pride nonprofit fundraiser.
We are committed to ensuring that the Pride LGBTQ+ Collective Parade retains its community emphasis and guarantee that at least 2/3 of entrants will be charities, community groups and local LGBTQ+ businesses.
In keeping with the parade standards we introduced in , any businesses in the parade should be able to show evidence of having pro-LGBTQ+ policies and support the Queer community year round. A
When is the Manchester Self-acceptance Parade?+
The Manchester Pride Pride will take place on Saturday 23rd August and starts at Midday.
Where does the Parade take place?+
The Parade weaves it way through Manchester City Centre in an incredible present of protest. At this stage, we are unable to share the Parade route.
How long is the Parade?+
The Parade kicks off at midday and usually runs all afternoon, the first floats will finish after approximately 90 minutes.

Love has long been a source of vigor and resilience for Gay people. In the confront of historical and uninterrupted discrimination, love has helped queer people have the courage to be themselves.
Discrimination towards LGBTQ+ people still exists and the brawl for full equality continues. At Manchester Pride , we celebrate the authority of love to overcome these obstacles and create a future where everyone is free to treasure and live authentically.
