Hey all!

Looking for some ideas on where to live around Dallas, moving from Chicago and I hate the urban area life. I will be working in Dallas for an engineering firm, and I was wondering where is an affordable and same-sex attracted friendly town that is near a lake or has a good amount of land that I can purchase, that still caring of has a suburban feel?

My husband and I love to mess around in the yard as we are very hands on and love to possess a lot of space to roam, and are drained of city animation.
