Cheyenne Jackson, so good in American Horror Story: Hotel and everything else he does, gives a candid interview to PrideSource which just posted today.

You&#;ve played just about every variation of gay. How do you know if a gay character is right for you?

I never pick something based on if it&#;s gay or not. I just pluck something if the character&#;s right for me. I play a pretty well mix, although these days I&#;ve been playing a lot of bisexuals. I was bisexual on &#;Horror Story&#; and then I just finished a clip where I also played bisexual, so I&#;m in a bi phase right now. Honestly, just the part has to appeal to me. I really do love that there&#;s such a broad spectrum I&#;ve played: gay guys who were more linear down the middle, and &#; though I dislike this phrase &#; &#;straight acting,&#; and all the way to &#;Behind the Candelabra&#; where I was just, you know, super cunt-y.

You suggest that you&#;ve worked with many closeted gay actors, and we talk a lot about

Cheyenne Jackson recently opened up about growing up as a queer kid, as well as his life as a gay actor, husband and father of adorable twins.

In an interview with Advocate, the year-old thespian shared about feeling like he didn&#;t belong, growing up queer in Idaho.

&#;Growing up queer, unlike, in the brief town that I did in northern Idaho, I just always knew that I didn&#;t fit. I never felt like these were my people,&#; he stated.

Jackson continued,

&#;It never felt like abode to me. Once I started to find my people in community theater, I started to really feel okay in my skin. My biggest journey in life really is the journey of being content in my skin and in my body. At 47 years old, it&#;s still a daily struggle for me.&#;

The year-old actor stopped by E! News' Daily Pop on Tuesday, Nov. 30 to talk about his new motion picture A Clüsterfünke Christmas but he couldn't help but gush over his two children—five-year-old twins Willow and Ethan—who he shares with his husbandJason Landau.
"They're incredible," Jackson told Daily Pop hosts Morgan Stewart and Justin Sylvester. "We never stop thinking about them. I drop them off at college and literally, I sit in the parking lot and I look at pictures of them. I just dropped them off!"
